Does 520 calories sound right for 1 gyro with NF yougurt sauce? That's what I had for lunch. I'm not too concerned, but just feel obsessed with knowing how many calories it was. It was really, really good.
If you don't know, gyros are usually made with lamb and the yogurt sauce is a blend of garlic, plain yogurt and cucumber and it's on a pita.
I figured it like this:
lamb 220
pita 165
sauce 125
cucumber 5
tomato 5
= 520
What do ya think?

Just found this...oh well - whatever, it was really good and I didn't have a cheat day this weekend at all.
The ever-so-popular gyro is among the worst, containing 760 calories,
44 grams of fat and a whopping 2,390 mg of sodium (right at our 2,400 mg
daily limit).

Don't they usually put full fat sour cream on them? That would make a big difference in the amount of calories and then it would depend on the amount of sauce too. Drink lots of water to off set that sodium though.
