I hope this doesn't get burried...
Didn't you post something recently about over training? If not, you probably know...I want to work out really hard this coming week. I'd like to do cardio and weights every day. It's not BFL, but can you see any way this would hamper weight loss? Are there any benefits of doing both every day. I guess if the benefits are only minimal, then maybe I don't want to do it and just stick with alternating...what are your thoughts? Anyone else?

its alot of work doing that...you can do weights 5 days a week on a split routine, and frankly i think that is a better way to go...for example, monday= chest ( 6 sets of whatever), tuesday=legs (6 sets again)...you can muck around with what day you want to do things...i work a 5 day split and do chest on mon, back on tue, legs on wed, shoulders and abs on thur and arms on fri.....
to throw in cardio everyday is alot...i would suggest it would run you down especially if your doing the interval training...i think 3, max 4 cardio sessions is plenty...i would start doing cardio on monday wed and fri....do that for like a month and a half...see how it feels and how you cope...if its ok throw in another session...i believe in keeping the weekends free but you can swap a weekday for a weekend if u like....
As for your direct q's:
doing too much can hamper your weight loss because you dont get enough recovery time...less is more
the benefits of a doing weights nearly everyday in a split routine like above is that you can really concentrate on a certain body part plus it keeps you active everyday....you can do both cardio and weights everyday but keep them well seperate...do one in the morn and one in the evening...it becomes too taxing to the system trying to combine them (especially intervals because they really do hurt!)
