Guys, nothing works for me long ...

Hi Everyone!!

What do you do when motivation from others doesn't help? It's nothing bad, it makes me feel good that everyone is so uplifting, but that doesn't stop me from eating and not exercizing. I'm on this thing now where I sleep all the time, and I don't want to do anything. I can't stand eating healthy foods. They are all yucky.
I have tried, and tried, and tried ... the most i'll go with any type of regimen is 6 days, that's not even a week. Then I fall right back into the same old rut I have been in since 6th grade of being fat and lazy. I don't get it. It's nuts. My boyfriend is no help because he loves me no matter what. But I want him to have the knock-out babe. I have a great heart, but I want the body to go with it.

Thx for listening everyone,
Angel

I'd Try the web site for people who hate to diet!!

http://www.annecollins.com/

I like her web site: she claims to be good for hopeless dieters, has lots of weight loss tips and straight talk, and sells her easy painless weight loss plan for about $8, but gives you a free sample of what her diet plan is, so that you can try it out. I find her to be motivating and sensible, so thought I'd share! I know that you have a big heart, and are a sweet person, but for the sake of your health, now and in the future, I hope you can find the motivation you seem to want. Remember that if you take very small steps, you won't fall, and you'll never look back! So why not make small changes, one at a time, one per week, and build on those small steps until you get where you want to be. Best wishes, Dee x....x

For me, the most important motivation didn't come from the outside, it came from within. When you're thinking outside of yourself, it can get hard to stick with things. I remember there were times when I'd start being "good" and then just think, oh hell forget it, and then the next day I'd feel like a failure again. But then one day I just had an epiphany and said, "you know what? i don't want to be fat. and this is something i can control." and so from then on, i had a different frame of mind. It was like being in control and just telling yourself, No too bad, I would rather be thin, and when you have that voice of power from the INSIDE, that is when you really have the motivation to stick to it. There will always be "weak" days when you eat too much or get lazy, and in my opinion anyone who doesn't get weak is some kind of superhero who must share their secret...but it's just a personal change of attitude that you can't force on yourself or else you won't stick to it. Time to take charge! So good luck, I'm rooting for you... it's always an uphill battle, believe me, but it gets less steep, I promise.

Hi Angel,

Healthy food does not have to be yucky. There are ways to make it so it tastes just a good as high-fat food. That's how I was able to lose and maintain my weight - the greatest contributing factor was learning how to cook healthy meals that don't taste like a typical low-fat food. I never felt and never feel like I'm on a diet.

I think you can really benefit from the companion cookbook that goes with my weight loss book. I put there all the tested recipes that are easy to make, tasty and healthy at the same time.

Try my Practical Weight Loss system - if it does not work for you, you can always return it within 3 months. You have nothing to lose -
order it here

Best regards,

Melanie

Melanie: ... I ordered the book

Hi Melanie,

I ordered your book tonight. I really hope that it gives me a new perspective that I can stay with. I once again am very happy to have stumbled upon this website in January of this year. I know I haven't made much progress with the weight ordeal. However, I keep coming back here everytime I get on the internet. I can't help but think that hey "I can do this", because everyone else here either has done, wants to do it, or is struggling just like me.

I already have faith that this book will inspire me in some way because unlike other people who try to sell weightloss books, you actually are talking with us and helping us while still helping yourself. You have proved that you don't just get to a weight and then say that you've done it and quit. I honestly believe that you didn't create this book just for money purposes. I know this came from your heart and that makes it more special than any of the other books I have purchased.

This will be the first book that I feel as though I know the creator. Through this website, it feels as though you really get to know these people for who they really are. It has always been hard to talk to people about being overweight. I know that I am not drastically overweight but like I've said earlier, it still feels the same no matter what size you are. With my personal quote "you're only as big as your mind makes you, until you listen to your heart, you'll forever be mislead".

This is why even though I get angry when skinny people say they are fat and need to lose weight, I understand how they "feel". The feelings never change. No matter how small you are, there will always be something that you want to change about yourself. I know this isn't true for all people but it's the only comparison I can think of at the moment. This comparison can apply to other things in life as well.

Once again, thank you Melanie. I don't know any other way to express my appreciation. If it helps any, I say all of this with my heart. =)

Angel

I don't want to be negative, but have you considered that you may be depressed? Depression robs you of energy and motivation. Trying to lose weight too quickly and not succeeding as soon as you hoped can lead to a feeling of failure and to depression and a vicious circle. Connie

Hi Angel,

Thank you for your order! And most of all, thank you for your kind words - you really made my day!

I'm really happy to hear that you like my website, and you feel like you know me personally. I put a lot of work in my website, newsletter and a book, and that's what I strive for.

I created this book knowing that there are so many people out there who want to lose weight, but don't know where to start, or they start and don't get anywhere. Since I was able to lose weight myself and keep it off, I know exactly what it takes, and I know that if people know what I know, and do what I do, they will lose weight too.

I put 100% effort into writing my weight loss book, and I truly believe that it will help people lose weight. That's why I offer a 90 day money-back guarantee - if the book does not work for people, I will refund their money. I'm only able to offer such guarantee because I stand behind my product 100%. I sincerely want to help people reach their weight loss goals - and if my book does not help them, then I really should not keep their money.

Angel, I recommend that you print out one copy of the weight loss manual and a cookbook. For some reason, I feel that it's easier to really understand the material when you are reading a hard copy as opposed to skimming through it on the computer screen. Then read it carefully, and most importantly, act on it!

Please keep me posted on your weight loss progress.

Best regards,

Melanie

Hi Angel -

I'm not a very motivated person too - especially the exercise part of it. Most days (90% of the time), I really am kicking and screaming in the inside and actually get all weak and nauseaous about the idea a lot too. But I've learned to get over it on a day-by-day/attack-by-attack basis, and just use sheer will-power to get it done. I don't always succeed, but my batting average seems to be getting better with time. I also won't lie and say I feel "soooooo good" afterwards all the time either (mostly I feel really bushed), but the fact that I did it, despite the fact that I do not necessarily like it, gives me something to feel accomplished about as I go to bed at night. I plan ahead too - pack my gym bag the night before, really make room in my schedule as much as a week ahead - so once the time comes, all plausible "excuses" are gone and it then comes down to will power.

My motivation for this daily fight? As one grows older, one realizes that it's the little effort that one puts in everyday that matters in the long run. I do not want to be among those looking back to their youth with the attitude of "if only I did something about my health (or wrinkles or long-term relationship or financial status)" when I was younger. Get inspiration from looking at celebrity contemporaries - how some retain their health and looks and why some of the same age do not.

You are certainly not alone.

Hope this helps.

Michelle

Hi Angel,

I'm in a similar situation, I however, I'm chair potatoe at work...I'm there 12-14 hours a day and I agree, I do not feel like eating a carrot after a stressful morning...midmorning or afternoon. I know there are other healthy foods out there...but somehow grabbing that hostess ding dong out of the vending machine is so easy...not to mention it ease's up some of the stress I feel (maybe a psychological thing)...

Perhaps we can support each other if we find something that works and is effective. It's hard when your going it alone, however I guess if we want to be a little bit smaller "Babes" we gotta try something to get there huh?

In closing don't feel alone, there are a lot of us "Babes" in "Full figure" wear...so much success to you! (Maybe knowing It can be done, we just gotta find our "niche" to get there is encouraging).

Take care now!
Ms. Freddie
