Hi everyone. New here and just starting to take a look around. While I don't have a lot of fat to loose, I am having one heck of a time trying to reach my goals. I'm at that stage of trying to remove the last 10-15 pounds. The last time I was at that weight was a couple of years ago. I worked two jobs from sunrise to 9:30 at night with an hour and a half break between jobs. The stress, lack of eating time, and highly active nature of the jobs kept me fairly thin.
Right now I work a desk job. For the last year I have been recovering from several different injuries (groin and knee), and am finally in a position to exercise properly. For exercising purposes, my wife and I purchased a recumbent bike a short while ago. It is set up so we can watch TV while we cycle (we need the distraction).
I had been lifting weights when my knee was injured, however, I recently developed tendinitis in one of my wrists, and so am now limited to cycling. Hopefully this new injury will heal soon.
My main interest in coming here is to find out other people's insights into loosing those last few pesky pounds. So far this seems like a great site.
Cheers.

Welcome to the board!
For me inaddition to increasing the intensity of weight lifting and cardio I've had to reduce my calorie intake a couple of times...from 1400 per day to 1350 then 1300.
I don't know much about those bikes, but I would have recommended an elliptical machine instead...you can really kick up the cardio on an elliptical, it seems to burn more calories and there's no impact on your knees.
How's your diet? Are you counting calories now? Are you eating high fiber, good carbs, lean protein and the good fats?
