 Got my body fat measured
Author: Shari

Shari 260/132/130 (2 1/2 years)

First off, please note I switched my middle number back to 132. Why? According to the body fat scale I was weighed on, I weighed 132, so I'm going with that.

Anyway - according to the "Tanita Body Composition Analyzer TBF-300A" I am right now 21.5% body fat. According to my personal trainer, that's pretty good. My goal is 20%. I need to lose 1.41 pounds. In order for me to get down to 17%, which he said would be pretty dang good, I need to lose 7.21 pounds. If I get there, I get there. If I don't I don't. So, 1.41 more pounds is my new goal weight, which is approximately 130 pounds anyway.

Not bad Shari. 17% is great!

I get mine measured on the 25th. With my Accumeasure calipers I'm guessing I'm somewhere between 19% - 21%. I hope my bubble isn't busted. My goal is 15%. I need to change my current weight back to 111. 110 only lasted one day and then I was right back at 111. I'm hoping that was finally a gain of a pound of muscle. My goal weight is still 105 for now, but when I know what my BF% is I may need to adjust my goal upward.

Do either of you use an electronic scale that measures weight and body fat? If so, I was wondering how close that measurement was to the one that you get from a professional.

My goodness, Shari! Your stats are amazing! I personally wouldn't get too bothered by that 1.71 pounds. : )

It looks like you have done a wonderful job in the past 2 1/2 years. Tell me about how you did it all. : )

What habits did you change? What habits did you form? Do you enjoy working out more than before?

You should post your story for everyone who has not been on this board as long as yourself. I'm sure it's very inspirational, and I would personally be very interested in hearing what you have to say. I'm sure you have a lot to teach us.
