my 4th/5th
ok i worked the night before and the night of the 4th
so i really really didn't do so bad on the 4th i did have some fried fish and a handful of french fries with some veggies at our family reunion but then i ate well for the other 2 meals
tonight however i have eaten awful
i had a turkey burger, watermelon, and canteloupe. Not to bad huh?
Oh yeah well then there were all the chips (which i have not had any of since March) Ice cream and a piece of pie
Ok so i didn't go way way way totally off
THe GOOD news is when i weighed Thurs night i'd lost 3lbs down to 241 :-)
probably all these chips will make me gain lol but at least i got til thurs to maybe make up and maintain.... if i can maintain i'll be happy
as for the ugly? hmm i don't know it just sounded like it should go with the title
isn't there a movie or something/ the good the bad and the ugly?
LOL
ok so that wasn't funny I'm tired give me a break LOL

Drink extra water over the next couple of days. It will help cut down on the water retention that you will have from eating the chips, especially since your body isn't used to them anymore. The come Thursday you should be fine.
Take care.

"The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly," starred Clint Eastwood. The 1966 flick was one of a series of so-called spaghetti westerns (they were filmed in Italy).

Don't feel to bad Brandy, I only have bad and ugly stories from the past couple of days, no good! (LOL) Holiday's over, time to get back on track. I gained 2 lbs., but not changing numbers because I too ate chips and other junk. I am chalking it up to water retention. You are doing great. Sounds like you are kinda like me and some others here, taking it one day at a time. Process may be slower, but we will get results that will last.

Thanks TJ
When i started out i really really didn't believe i'd ever get anywhere with this
but to see 241 on the scale Thurs and know that since i started i've had cake, ice cream and other things that aren't so good yet i'm still losing weight
I think i have finally figured out it is truly a lifestyle change and not a diet
I am dropping my calorie limit to 1800..... except for the last two days i have done that all week
and will continue. i was eating 2000 so i'm hoping this will speed up the weight loss just a tad
Sunday is Homecoming at our church
I'm not allowing a free day that day but ONE free meal
That is IF i don't go over 1800 all week and i do at least 5 days of Exercise
So that is my bargain with myself.
After that i dont' think there are any more holidays or birthdays for several weeks
Those are My free days...so they don't come more than once or twice a month usually
