I am on a medication for 10 days (5 more to go) and it makes me so drowsy and I have no energy at all. I have been exercising on top of that but find I get out of breath really quick and my heart rate rises very quick. Today I have no energy to even get up and pop in the dvd. What should I do? Exercise anyway or relax for the day and exercise one on my free weekend days?

Sometimes you do have to take a break...If you`re on meds and your heart beat was already funny yesterday give your body a break and watch your food intake instead and you probably need the extra rest....Obviously not a ? of lack of motivation so we won`t hold it against you...:) G

I also think that you should rest. You don't want to over do it and hurt yourself. Just take it easy for the rest of the day and see how you feel tomorrow. Take a nice nap and read your book. Have a good day off!

I agree. You should NOT exercise if the meds are kicking your butt. Finish out your meds, rest, get better, and then get back on track.

i agree with the others, u probably havent had a break for a while...and if u feel like u should do something try walking slowly or cleaning or some sort of 'passive exercise'...studies (although we didnt need these to tell us), show that the more active your day job is, the leaner you are...so without doing cardio, you can actively move.
