Hey, I know some of you guys are independently wealthy and living off your trust funds, but for the rest of us, you can really buy used excercise equipment cheap!!
We all know how many pieces of excercise equipment we've abandoned. Why not take advantage when others do the smae thing.
I bought the Orbitrek Eliptical Machine for $35. It was still wrapped in the plastic packaging.
I bought a hundred lb. set of steel weights from big five on sale for with a bar, two dumbells and 85 lbs of weight for $30.00
I "outgrew" that set in less than a week and bought another bar and 70 more lbs. of weight used for $10
I bought a bench at a garage sale for $5, wanted a nicer one and sold it to my buddy for the same $5
I bought a really nice bench used with leg curls and curls and stand for $25
So for a hundred bucks I have a pretty nice home gym. In some major cities there's WWW.cvraigslist.org where they have adds and it's free. That's where I got my nice bench.
Just thought it might help someone.

That is such a good idea, I do the same! I'm a serious garage sale/thrift shop hunter, my kids and husband just shakes their heads at me whem i'm off on a mission to find something. But I figure why pay a fortune at the department/specialty stores when I can get the same stuff for 1/4 of the price or less sometimes!
