I starting working out again a few weeks ago. I work out everyday at 8am, 45 min Cardio, and then weights on Mon/Wed/Fri. I am trying to make the most out of my workouts, so I am stepping up the speed and the intensity every week.
Now the first week, I had so much energy in the mornings for my workouts. My runs were as fun as a tredmill can be. Now I find that I wake up very tired, its alot of work just to convince myself to stay on the tredmill, and I'm always yawning while running.
My sleeping habits haven't changed, I still get about 8 hours. I eat a small bowl of ceral (healthy high in fiber kind) before each workout. And I have reduced almost all caffine from my diet.
Does anyone know why I should be so tired in the mornings? I think if I can't solve this issue, its going to be harder to convince myself to go every morning.

the combining of cardio and weights on the 3 days is too taxing to the system...45 mins cardio and then hit the weights u wouldnt be able to lift to the best of your ability because u wouldnt be fresh...this is perhaps why ur basically running urself into the ground...hows ur diet too, maybe up ur calories some

I think my diet's ok. I'm eating between 1500 to 1800 cal a day. I'm acheiving 30/55/15 (protein/carbs/fat). I eat plently of fruits and veggies, and drink a lot of water.
I always thought that doing cardio everyday was acceptable. Maybe I should lighten up on the days that I lift, but still do some.

Having a post-snack workout (30-60 minutes afterwards, especially after weight training), with a 1:4 calorie ratio of protein and carbs say help get the burn-out off according to a number of recent articles I've been reading. Supplementation with 400 i.u. of Vitamin E daily is showing promise as well in some studies.
Hope this helps.
