Elyssa asked what kind of bike I have and I couldn't answer her without once again telling people about "Craigslist." It's www.craigslist.org and you can buy or sell anything on there and it's free. While this Craigslist is in the SF Bay area, I believe if you go there you can find links to Craigslists all over the US and even other countries.
I bought my bike on there, all my weights, benches, lat machines, elliptical machines and other excercise equipment for a fraction of the price of new stuff. I have also bought and sold several cars and I traded my wife for a Coleman stove...no wait...that was someone else at a biker party I once attended.
My bicycle, for example is a 2003 Specialized Expedition that lists for $290 and they are still selling them as last years models in stores. I bought 2 of them and honestly they had barely been ridden (though one had a flat) for a Benjamin. That's right, $50 per bike, from a very nice reputable couple that was moving and they gave me all the paperwork with the bikes.
We all know how folks give up on excercise stuff, I know I have done it, and we might as well save our planet some and recycle what we can.

Hi Eric!
Thanks for the great info! I was also looking into getting a treadmill or elliptical for the winter (I hate walking in the snow and wind!) so I will for sure visit the site, plus to get my bike. I hope you are having a great weekend, and thanks for all of your advice and input.
