Today I became member of that elite running group, the sub 12 club. Very few of us runner accomplish this goal. In order to join, you must do a mile in under 12 minutes. That's right, that's not a typo, undewr 12 minutes. Today I smashed my old record of 12:10 by doing the mile in 11:52. It's not bragging, just fact...so now I'm in the sub 12 club...oh wait...it's the sub 4 club...nevermind.
However 11:52 may qualify me for the fat guy Olympics...I'll let you know when I beat Katelin's old time of 11:30. I'm more impressed now Katelin!
Anybody else miss Renee already?
Gotta go to a funeral today....bummer....

My hat is off to you Eric. I haven't run a mile in over 10 years, I'm not even sure I can do it without stopping. Running seems a lot harder to me than using exercise machines. I've run a block or two recently but haven't yet gotten to a track. Next time I'm near my parent's place I'll try to run a mile at the Jr. High School next door, I'll let ya know if I can beat 12:00.

I also ran my first mile in a long time on the treadmill today, I was proud that I didn't need any walking breaks. I am not sure what my time was, I didn't try to kill myself. I was just happy it was under 15 minutes...
Nice work Eric!
