I've only had breakfast and lunch (no snack) and I'm already up to a little over 900 calories.
Most of the calories came from breakfast, I had 2 small slices of pumpkin bread. And it's even a 'light' recipe!
If you find that you've blown a lot of your calories early, how do you get through the rest of the day without going hungry? Normally by dinnertime I've only used up maybe 400-600 calories.

I'd say try to fill up on veggies and fruits if you can...and some good lean protein...that'll keep you feeling full.
Another thing I like to do if I am high on calories, is have a protein shake in the middle of the day. Helps you feel full...gets you to your next meal.
Hope these help Lee...and I wouldn't worry too much about it. Hopefully you were active enough to start burning some of those 900 calories ;o) And if not, tomorrow is another day! ;o)

I haven't done any actual exercise today, but I've been doing housework, so that helps too. I usually do my exercises every other day because I find that if I do them EVERY day, my muscles get too sore and then I don't want to do them at all.
Thanks for the suggestions :)
I went through my Lean Cuisine collection and found one that's only 120 calories, so I'm going to have that. I was going to have a sandwich, but the sandwich would be more calories than the meal.

I also invested in a pair of 6lb hand weights. I have GOT to get my arms toned.
I used to work out with hand weights religiously and it feels so good. The Pilates I do helps me to feel the 'progress' in my legs and midsection, but I don't feel it much in my arms, so by golly, I will now!
lol
