I am completely addicted to Cadbury creme eggs (again). Every year it's the same.... creme eggs and peeps. I would always assume that the egg was around 300 cals and put that in my book and the other day I found out that they are only 175 caloires! WooHoo!!!! That means 2 of em for me instead of one lol!
What is your soft spot during the Easter season? I have the 2 mentioned above and jelly beans.

Those marshmallow chickens and bunnies. Pink and yellow. Are they called Peeps? Love them! I have no idea how many calories are in them but glad your eggs have less - see, all the good stuff doesn't have a million calories in them.

Up in the Northeast they have a candy called "Krackle Eggs" which are coconut cream eggs coated with dark chocolate mixed with toasted coconut--DEVINE! Luckily, I can't get them down South, so my second all-time favorite is hollow chocolate rabbits--ears first of course!

Cadbury creme eggs, definitely! Another favorite is Cadbury mini-eggs...what would we do without the Cadbury company? :)

I never liked Easter candy much because the stuff we got was usually stale (another issue re my mother to bring up with the psychiatrist). However, sometimes we got fresh Peeps, which I loved. I think I posted this link on Peep research last year, but it bears repeating for those who haven't seen it:

This year, as last year--no kids, no candy, no problem.

Mine is the Cadbury eggs also. Last year I remember sitting down and eating 2 or 3 at a time. This year is going to be so different now that I'm trying to loose weight. I walked past them at the store the other day and stopped, looked at them for a few seconds and was strong enough to tell myself no. I'm so proud I was able to do it. Now, as Easter gets closer and everyone I know is eating candy we will see just how strong I am:)

I have 3 kids! That means three times the candy! And it's not just Easter. There's Halloween, then Christmas, then Valentines Day, then Easter, then all three birthday parties during the summer. Not to mention all the birthday parties they come home from with goody bags! We have a constant supply of candy in our house! In a way, it's a good thing. When they get new candy, it's not anything new or special because there's already some at home! So they don't gobble it down the second they get it. I end up throwing a lot of stuff away!
