Tomorrow, I will be spending the day at the national H.O.G. rally so I have to have the official weigh in today. When I went on vacation I was around 180. When I returned on Monday I was again around 180. This morning, I was 176! I must have had some water weight on because I can't believe I lost 4 lbs in as many days.
Anyway, officially down 56 pounds with four lost somewhere between this week and last. Funny thing is that I was attempting to maintain, not loose.
Sometime in the next week or so, I think I may change my goals to body fat composition rather than weight. I've ordered some calipers and will see how that goes. I'm back to lifting, so I expect to put on some muscle mass, which will add weight and screw up the weight goals.
OK everyone, keep exercising!

Congratulations Don! How do you loose while on vacation? Anytime I mess with my schedule I gain. It's exciteing that you're ready to make the change to a different goal. How will the change in goal change your system of eating and exercize?

I'm still maintaining at 107. I don't think I will see 106 tomorrow like I was hoping. But like you Don, I'm more concerned with body fat at this point versus the number on the scale. STILL, I plan to see 105 on that scale EVENTUALLY, but for now I'm enjoying maintenance.
My abs are really starting to come through well, except the bottom two segments. I may never get those, but that's fine. I guess, but I'm still working on it and I know I'm going to have to lose more body fat to see them.

Well, a big part of my vacation was very active (motorcycle riding, camping, amusement parks) and I tried to make healthy substitutes when I could. I was not really trying to lose weight on vaction, it just kind of happened.
I don't know how the change in goals will affect my eating, but it shouldn't change my exercise routine at all. I think I need to find out where I am, then make new goals. Kind of like you need to know where you are before you look to where you are going.

Well, tomorrow is usually the day I weigh in too. But I measured today.
The bad news is I'm back up to 129 HOWEVER .... I've lost 1/2 inch each from my hips and thigh. My waist is the same :(
I've done half that stumptuous program 8 every day except today when I went for a walk instead (I'm still sore from lower body on Tuesday). I actually jogged part of the way today!
So about my September goal. I'm not gonna make it to 124 but getting smaller is just FINE with me! And my walking went very well, over 1 1/2 times what I'd planned and I still have a week to go.
I'm pretty happy!

At goal, under 124 lbs since Sept. 10/04
