Never heard of that. Is it just regular pasta or is it a special type?

So funny you should say that! My lady friend and I were talking about that pasta and she swears by it...LOVES it!
Too cool!

Oh no! You said the "net" word, lol.

Actually, I only say that because just about everywhere I read these days (on food and nutrition sites) they're now saying NOT to pay attention to the words "net carbs" because it doesn't mean anything. I have no idea what all that is about because I was never up on net carb knowledge. This is just what I've been reading :)

The real test behind low-carb foods is to check your blood sugar one hour and two hours after you eat them. Most regular pastas and rice, etc, will shoot your blood sugar up to ridiculous levels. I just went and did a little research on Dreamfields Pasta and most 'normal' people, that don't already have a problem with blood sugar, saw little or no change in their blood sugar levels after eating it. Which is good :)

Some people did see a spike in insulin, but that's because they're already insulin resistant. Anyone who is insulin resistant will get a spike if they eat carbohydrates in just about any form. Apparently Dreamfields 'removes' the carbohydrates and replaces them with protein and fiber. Plus everyone who has eaten the pasta says it's delicious. So looks like I'll have to keep an eye out for it in the store! :)
