Donna and Whomever,

I've seen you post that you use WATP. Are you still doing that? How do you like it?

Anyone else with an opinion, I'd like to hear what you think. I need another method to spice up my workouts when I can't get outdoors (two toddlers).

Thanks, all!

I use the WATP's video...I have about 25 or more of Leslie Sansone tapes. I like doing her 3 miles tapes. I do her 2 pound weigh (I use 3 pounds) video, her stretchen band video and the belt. I alternate the 3 miles so I don't get bored with it. I do my workout in the morning when hubby goes to work at 5:00 a.m. to get it out of the way. I have been doing her workout for 1 1/2 years now and so far it has help me. I recently added the stepper with her workout...because I was getting bored. I hope she makes a new video soon.

I also use WATP--and I thank goodness I found them! I used to alternate riding an exercise bike with walking, then I mostly went to walking. But when the weather started getting too hot (or rainy), I needed something else, and these tapes were perfect. I can roll out of bed, get into my gear and knock out my cardio (exercise is my favorite thing next to eating glass).

I bought the WATP 1, 2, & 3-mile tape set (with handweights) and started with the 2 mile. I worked up to the 3 mile, and then bought the 4-mile (at Target) that doesn't use any equipment.

Now I use the 2 mile after my strength workouts (with dumbbells) 2x a week; and I use my 3-mile before my abs workout (2-3x per week) and pop in the 4 mile on the days I don't do (or don't feel like doing) any of the other exercises.

It may get a little boring after a while (I've been doing WATP since Sep 2003), but if the alternatives aren't as attractive, I'm happy sticking with it.

BTW Petitelady: Can you rank the 3-mile WATP tapes in order of your favorites please? I only have the hand-weight 3-mile and would like to try some others. If the handweight tape isn't your favorite, can you tell me why you prefer the others over it. Thanx!

I haven't touched the WATP tape in a while. I suggest that if you do it, use the weights that Petite & Fab mentioned. Although it got me sweating, I noticed that my legs and stomach were looking flabby after a while of doing it. I went back to Richard Simmons and it's back to normal the reason being that there are a lot of strength training and toning in his video I use. I'm not saying it sucks by any means..... just use the weights =)

I don't really understand what you are asking but will try very hard to answer...I give leslie Sansone a 10 because her video is just too darn easy to follow...plus when I get up in the morning (5:00 a.m. is just too early for me but must get up to get my work out out of the way) I am not awake yet and walking is just easy to follow. By the time she is done with her warm up walk...I am finally waking up. I tried another work out video call 'Prevention' and end up not liking the video..so now, it is just sitting and collecting dust. I just cannot handle other video's except WATP's and like I said...I hope she makes another video soon because I am basically getting bored doing the same workout...sometimes losing my motivation too. But so far..been getting my butt off the bed (or actually hubby dragging me off the bed) and getting my work out done in the morning. It is hard to make myself do it but the thought of gaining anymore is more despression. I have 5 pounds to get off since I gain it and now I am TRYING. Don't know what I weight right now and don't want to know either.

By the way, if you want her video..have some that I will gladly give you for free. I just did not like them. I am only keeping the ones that I like more. Let me know and what you decide. I can give you my feedback over at ebay so you can email me. thanks.
