Hi Don, sorry I didn`t post below I took a few days of....
Welcome aboard and one thing remains the same, at one time or another we`ve all been newbies!
I have been here since January of 2002 so yes it classifies me as an oldie.
Although the board as been more sluggish lately and posters `name change it has been the same in the past...This time of year sees a lot of people busy with outdoor activities...As for Newbies being part of a problem..NO NO NO NO and again NO! I think the problem that comes from being around so long is that we become part of a family and like so many families we get on each others nerves once in a while ...This should never be taken seriously and I confess I have since early 2002 been a serious offender of off topic posts!!! I for once when I get in the "feel sorry for myself moos or will eat evrything in site mood" etc will often come here and post and as I`m writing those negative feelings go away..YES I could write those posts in an e-mail but then it becomes too personal...And it has been my mistake to title posts such as "Hey Eric ..." without putting OT in the title simply because being french I don`t always think of those things and just asumed that if a poster wasn`t named Eric they didn`t have to read the post...My idea of sense of humor is greatly differant from others ...
During a very long time I didn`t put much efforts in my weightloss, or work outs yet by coming here I was able to do some damage control so some of us do not lose the weight fast, are not near maintaining but have managed not to gain any weight back which I feel makes us eligible for this board as much as any but I do tend to take it for granted...Anyhoo , I as an oldie need the newbies and the oldies on this board for new and fresh ideas as well to keep guiding me through my struggles...
I am posting my weight to show that even if I have been at a standstill with the scale I am still working at it...
Start weight when joining the board after a few weeks losing on my own so I`m not sure what I had gone up to...
195lb/162 lb then went through very long period of no exercises and bout of depression weight crept back up to this spring to 176 lbs now down to 168 lbs and the bottom number is not something i`m thinking off at present ...
Being healthy is my number one goal and I have gone down 4 sizes almost 5 the clothes are getting loser again...G
Sorry for such a long book...G
