I finally decided that in addition to weighing myself once a week I would start taking measurements to track inches (or centimeters LOL) lost. The question I have is how often should I do this? Is once a month the best route to go?

I measure myself once a week. It keeps me motivated and lets me know if I have to work harder and lets me know that working out and eating right really is making a difference. I set weekly goals for myself. I keep a weight loss journal and I have a chart in there to track my measurements. It helps a lot.

Yeah, that makes sense. I only weigh myself once a month for the same reason. I get so discouraged when it comes to losing pounds. I'm not as worried about inches.
