 Does this make sense?

Yesterday as I was on my knees getting a casserole dish in the back of my cupboard I forgot that right above me I had pulled out the cutting board (the kind that are in your cabinets and slides out when needed like a drawer) so when I got up fast, yep I got it square in the corner of the forhead...It left a angry looking red mark but did not break skin.. When it first happen I went down to the floor and the pain was unbelievable...(I should be used to pain by now since I`m such a clutz) I now know the meaning of "seing stars"!! I did not pass out but was quite nauseaus...When I got up I iced it and had a headache across my forehead the rest of the day...
Here is what I wonder could this be the reason I feel like crap today? I feel somewhat dizzy and just want to crawl back into bed...My pupils look o.k. to me so I don`t think it`s that serious but I wonder if it`s connected to the way I`m feeling...G

Do you still have the headache? i know that sometimes when i get get headaches i feel kinda crappy for a few days depending on the severity of the headache. Are you sure that you do not have a slight concussion? I looked it up for you and the symptoms are headachy feeling, abnormal sleepiness, DIZZINESS, confusion ( maybe i have a concussion everyday!!) emotional anxiety, blurred vision and vomiting or nasuea.
the site that i checked said rest and tylenol should help and that you could have symptoms for 3-4 days.
I hope that you feel better, sometimes the thing that hurts the most is the embarrasment!! lol hehe.

Sounds like a concussion to me. I know what you mean about seeing stars too. Be careful today. My kid got a concussion in a water polo game last year and seemed fine the next day, but during a later game she stopped playing water polo and just started swimming aimlessly in the pool.

They had to send teammates to fish her out. It was a bit scary.

And no quarterbacking in the NFL today. You probably shouldn't even resume practice until next week. That's all I know about concussions.

Don't underestimate a shock like that can take on your body. My dad was a teacher and one day he was using the paper cutter in the school office. His thumb was in the way and he slammed the cutter down on his thumb nail. All he remembers is waking up on the floor. It was the oddest thing, but the shock had him feeling out of sorts for a couple days. Take a rest and get it checked out if these feelings persist. Don't take anything for granted. Take care.

.....at the very least call your doctor and explain what happened just to be on the safe side.
