I don't usually get home until around 8 or 9 at night after a day of work and school. I do really well eating healthy all day and even on my way home, I convince myself that I will just have a glass of milk and go to bed; however, the second I step foot in my place, I want to devour everything. This happens even if I eat a snack on my ride home.....any suggestions?

Are you eating enough? With your busy schedule, can you cook in enough quantities on the weekend to freeze some pre-made plates, and pop in the microwave when you get home?
I go lighter on the breakfasts and lunch, and tend to have something substantial for dinner after my exercise. It works for me as far as controlling hunger later at night.

Just something to consider...do you think you may be eating to unwind? After going all day it's tempting to eat just to relax. Is there something else you can replace the eating w/if that turns out to be the case? A quick yoga routine? How about slowly sipping a diet soda...or drinking a cup of tea?

omg, this is exactly my problem! i can be fine all day and then when i come home i eat too much. (i am also unfortunately battling bulimia which makes it even more tricky to deal with). the replies are also spot on - i don't eat enough during the day and also am too stressed out so eating is a sort of release. if i could deal with evenings i would be so much better! e-mail me if you want to chat.
