Does anybody know if the ... Jamieson SlimDown - Carb & Fat Burner works? I heard it does.
Or does anyone know if any kind of (not expensive) diet pills work. I have absolutely no time what so ever for exercising, and eating healthy is slipping from me ... Any help? btw, I am 19 years old and wanting to lose at least 30 pounds.
Thanks

Stay clear of the diet pills. They will mess up your body something awful and can have very damaging side effects. I took them at age 17 to loose 20 pounds. About 3 months into taking them, I started having problems. Each time I took the pill (and I took the minimum dosage), my head would tingle. It would feel rather euphoric. Then one day, after I had stopped taking them for about 6 months, I had trouble breathing, my head was tingling and felt like I was spinning around. I was having mini blackouts for 1-3 minutes at a time where I didn't know where I was. The feeling was horrible. I started having severe panic attacks. It wasn't until I was 28 that I found out that all of this had been caused by the diet pills. What was actually happening was I was having mini-strokes which were caused from the diet pills. They would happen in my sleep where they would wake me up, but I was unable to open my eyes or to move. It was very very scarey. If you can, stay clear of the diet pills. By the way, I took Dexetrim with caffine, natural and then without caffine. They all had the same effect. It seems the drug that is is it phenaproplaline (I'm not sure on the spelling). It is also in Contact cold pills, which I also took and gave me the same feeling. I lost very little weight with the diet pills. Finally, at age of 26 my weight ballooned up to 250 pounds. I started slowing cutting out white sugar and fats. I lost 150 pounds and have kept it off for 10 years. Exercise is the key along with sensible eating. You'd be suprised how fast you will loose the weight if you eat right. And people who say they don't have time to exercise---bull. Instead of driving to the store, walk. Walk up and down the stairs 10-20 times in your own home. You also have to decide how important is it for you to loose the weight, for me it was vital. I used the excuse that I just didn't have time to exercise. Then I made time. I get up at 4:00 a.m. and workout from 5-7. That is my time and it may sound impossible, but you would be surprised how much better you feel and you have the whole day ahead of you. It is great. Nobody to bother you, just me and my stereo. Good luck. Hope I've helped.

About a year ago I was tried a fat burning pill called hydroxy-something and it absolutely ruined my body. I loved it at first because when I worked out it seemed to have brilliant results and I did lose a lot of weight but after I stopped traing I suffered severe stomach cramps and started to bloat. I don't know if I just had a reaction to them but my doctor made me get off them staright away.
Personally I have tried quite a few pills and shakes and I've learn't the hard way that natural remedies are always the best!
Hope this helps...
