 Diet Divas?

Hi there!

I was just wondering if anyone has tried any of those weight loss programs online. I am currently reading up on the "DIET DVIAS" and "EDIETS" - has anyone here had any (or heard any) positive results from online programs???

Thanks so much for your help!!

Sincerely, Jen

Weight loss programs (regardless whether they are online or offline) can bring positive results if:

1) The program is real (combines healthy diet and excercise), and not some fad promising a quick or easy fix.

2) You stick to it

I looked at DietDivas and eDiets, and eDiets seems more credible to me... The reason for this is that on DietDivas site I saw this paragraph:

"Do I have to exercise?

Because you will be burning your storage fat by using the easily assimilated protein snacks, you will lose inches quickly without exercise. Most people will drop one size for every 8 pounds that they lose on the dietdivas™ program."

Protein snacks and losing inches quickly with no excercise are usually the red flags. For information regarding the fact that high-protein diets are not effective/safe on a long term, see this article: http://www.wellnessweb.com/nutri/atkins_diet.htm

eDiets appears to be a meal plan combined with excercise program - no red flags. But of course, you can't be sure unless you try it... When you sign up for a diet program, use your credit card (not cash or check)... if it turns out to be a scam, you can always call the credit card company and get a charge-back (if of course the diet company does not provide a money back guarantee - you can simply ask for a refund then).

I was in the same situation. I was constantly trying new programs and yo-yo dieted for over half of my life. My doctor had actually recommended any of the programs from www.Dare2beslim.com and so far have seem great success. I have lost 26 pounds in just 2 months and the support that I receive is incredible. My energy level has also been increased drematically, so now I feel like I can get up and do a 20 minute exercise program. I have a long ways to go but I'm excited!

Herbalife system may be unsafe... just be careful...
