First my treadmill wore out and needed some parts I had to order, then we had the hurricane and it gave us voltage problems for several days which delayed being able to use the treadmill again for a while, (I can't complain, our problems were very minor compared to others) then I got a very bad cold which I am just now starting get over and that made it difficult to exercise as much as normal, so I have had a several week period where my exercise amount was below what I had it built up to and it did slow down my overall weight loss from what it could have been by now. (I still kept my calories reduced though) but I was determined to not allow those temporary setbacks to discourage me, I was still losing weight, and I knew that I would be getting back to my normal exercise amount before long.
The key is to stay determined, make up your mind that reguardless of any temporary setbacks you are NOT giving up, you didn't come this far to give up now and you are sticking with it to the end.
I am determined, and I have made up my mind to stick with it,
I just wanted to help encourage others to develop a "determined" attitude also, because once you are determined, it does make it easier :-)
(I am thanful for the weight I did lose during my reduced exercise period,
it is still a nice amount, about 11 pounds in about 2 weeks, and I am glad
that I should have my exercise level back up to normal soon :-)
