I started making out daily meal planners about six weeks ago, trying to see where my bad times of the day were.It has worked out perfect for me,each night before I go to bed I make out a planner for the following day.It helps me remember to stick with eating healthy.I always include my three meals and three snacks each day.I hope this will work for someone else out there,I know it has helped me a bunch. LOL :-)

Hey, yeah! Absolutely! Sounds like you were reading my mind today! I think that will be one thing that will really help me stay sane with two kids and a husband to think of ,too.

I do a weekly menu every Sunday before going to the market, I love it!! It helps me to not buy to much & not having to decide every morning on what to have for lunch & dinner.
When I come home from the store, I usually divide lunch / snacks into individual portions in small bags for lunches that week. This saves a lot of time in the mornings. It seems a little anal but it makes things so convenient during the week (especially since I work out at 6am before work).

I have tried to do weekly, but it seems like stuff pops up that I eithor forgot about or didn't know about(Bdayparties, family cookouts, going out to eat, school events, ball games,etc.).I was having to erase and redo so many days that I just decided to go a day at a time. But if that works for you awsome.I wish I could get it to work out, maybe I'll give it another go one of these days.LOL.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I had chicken in the fridge Friday to make foil chicken & it's still there. I will make it tomorrow or else I have to throw it out (I hate to waste food). There are always scribbles on my menu, especially since we are looking for a house & things are always popping up.

That's a great idea. I do well if I make a plan. It's the fly by the seat of my pants days that get me in trouble (mostly weekends, too much family fun and eating).

I'm the same way,the weekdends are always hectic.I try to plan extra stuff,so I don't feel TOO bad when I don't stick to 1600cal those days. And I try to throw some healthy stuff in my purse when we're getting ready to leave, that way if I think I gotta have something at least it MIGHT be half way healthy. LOL

i do OAMC (once a month cooking) and i just have lots of food in the freezer.... we dont always go by the monthly planner.... and i only really plan dinner (we do left overs for lunch the next day) but that way food is always in the crock pot... and i only have to cook one day a month!!!
i think my biggest problem lately has been inactivity,.... and eating so much bread/pasta cause its cheap and we are broke.... ugh....
good luck with meal planning
