I took this for awhile, it did supress my appetite, but when I ran out I didn't buy it again. It didn't seem to work that well and I decided to just change my eating habit all together.

No, no side affects. You can also type in Dexatrim Natural in your search engine - I use Yahoo and all kinds of stuff comes up. I read about it before I started taking it. I have to say though - I have a very high tolerance for medications and stuff like that. So even though I didn't have side affects you might. I was taking one every morning. I think it will work for what you want it to. It seems like I was starting to build a resistance to it. It started to not work as long through out the day as it first did.

*Sigh*
There are no miracle cures.... there are no special pills you can take to magically lose weight.... products marketed as such are exploiting people who are desperate to lose weight -- it's sad really, but that's the way it is.
The only way to lose weight safely and keep it off is with proper diet and a lot of exercise. I know that sounds lousy, but thems the breaks. I know SOOO many people who have tried this or that pill and wound up screwing up their metabolisms or developing stomach problems.
Please don't resort to taking 'miracle cures' -- it won't work and you'll just wind up more desperate in the end. Decide to lose the weight, and you will -- it's that simple.
Sorry to burst your bubble.....

Luna~ Thanks for the reply, I know, I am losing weight right now, but the thing is I just want something that will supress my appetite, and my pharmacist ok'd this product. I know, ive been through takin pills without excercise and eating right, and nothing works, but I just needed something to surpress my appetite, becuase after dinner I do tend to go over my calorie intake, and I don't want to, and right now my willpower sucks. Thanks

Dexatrim is not the miracle pill that helps you lose weight but instead an appetite suppresant. I started out on these since going from unlimited calories down to 1200 calories always kept me hungry. These helped a lot and I do recommend them. Of course, they are not going to melt the fat away which they make no promises about. Instead, they will curb your appetite. After so long of using them, I think I developed a tolerance to them and had to cycle them every so often.
Good luck

Appetite suppressant huh? I don't know.... it just seems wrong NOT to eat if you're genuinely hungry?? I've lost 42 lbs without any appetite suppressants of any kind and eating 6 times a day and I also didn't count calories.... I don't know.... I"m just leary of all kinds of weight loss pills and related products because they REALLY screwed my poor sister up... she now has a variety of medical problems related to having taken various pills, although I don't know if Dexatrim was one of them.
Just please be careful... I'd hate to hear of anyone getting ill or hurt from taking medication related to weightloss.
Best wishes :))

I'm no medical professional but I highly doubt that OTC appetite suppressants will do harm. Well at least it hasn't caused me any harm. Like I said earlier, going from pigging out daily to 1200 calories is really hard. Since you don't count calories I would imagine that it's easy for you to do without them. As for your comment "It just seems wrong NOT to eat if you're genuinely hungry" , it is really hard to tell if a person is "genuinely" hungry if they are use to eating the super sized portions like I was. All in all, I feel appetite suppressants can be beneficial.

It could very well affect you but for me, I have a high tolerance for caffeine and it does not affect me. I would try one day and see. If you do notice this side effect, there is a Dexatrim Natural w/o caffeine.
Hope this helps,

yeah the thing with pills is that they tend to keep you up and so i know for me, if i were to take one of those things, it would be at night since that's when i get most of my cravings but the problem would be it would keep me up. if you just have a huge appetite all day then that's one thing, but just make sure you don't take it too late at night, especially if caffeine really affects you.

I found mines at Walmart. I'm sure whereever you got the other one, they should have it. It should be two different boxes beside each other. One with caffeine the other without.
