Okay so I was going through some of my moms things over the weedend, (she passed away 3 years ago) and I came across a richard simmons deal-a-meal. (probably got it at a garage sale!! she loved to garage sale!) Has anyone used this food mover before? I was just wondering if you follow the cards for your calorie range is it a good visual tool as to how much food you can have for the rest of the day? there are different food suggestions on each food group card and they seem like healthy choices. If anyone has used this let me know if it was helpful to you. thanks, Teena :)

I used deal a meal about 7 years ago and it did nothing for me. I know of people who used it and they lost alot of weight. It's different for different people. I found that it was to restricting with foods. There was a certain list of foods you can eat that were on your cards and some serious confusion if something wasn't on there. I remember there was a recipe book that came wiht it that had a good recipe. Take chicken breasts coat them with grey poupon mustard then on top of that put crushed corn flakes, low cals and it tasted great, I still make it.
LOL! I remember me and my ex-husband while we were doing the deal a meal used to be so happy when we found out that we could still have that one pickle according to the cards. Richard Simmons is big on pickles....I guess he doesn't know about the salt.
