Does anybody have any info on Curves or tried it themselves? I'm looking for a not too intense workout to start with so I'm not overwhelmed or intimidated by it to be able to stick to it. Any input or other ideas would be helpful!
Thanks for the help you guys have already given me. Just the few comments that you wrote have given me a better mindset to take charge of myself again. Have started small by getting rid of all the junk in my cupboards & not by eating it!

Well, I visited Curves and decided it was not right for me. many people like it, and it IS a good program. I would prefer to us e a machine for as long as I like, but in their program, you switch machines a lot and the whole thing just bugged me out.
If you're looking for variety and fun, you may like it. It probably just takes a little getting used to.

i know a little bit about curves. you go into like a curves "class" or something and then you have these little activities, which you do for two minutes and then rotate on to the next activity and do that thing for two minutes, and then you switch again. i know its like a few women all in a class together and there are the trainer people who encourage you and give you tips on how to take full advantage of your workout. i have heard it's good, but i don't think it's for me.
hope i have helped a litle, sorry i was so vague on the detials.
