Okay, so I would LOVE to be able to afford to eat often and healthy, but being a university student, I mainly need to rely on dried or frozen food (whatever lasts longer). I have tried all sorts of things. I just can't afford fresh veggies and fruit etc.
Is it useless? Do I have to give up trying to lose weight until I am done school?
Any ideas?

And I try to work out at home, but I also work 3 jobs, go to school full-time, and volunteer. I am happy to be able to sleep. Lately I have been trying to do situps while watching TV, or push-ups, but I am getting this sinking feeling it is not enough.
BTW, I am 5' 4" and 160lb.

oatmeal/wheat are good sources of 'healthy' carbs...basically most meats are good for your protein...and your right, sit-ups and push-ups wont cut it for strength or size or even stamina really, its not enough..im a uni student too so i know how it is...time to get creative and look for things outside..cardio is always free..running, swimming, jogging and a killer cardio workout involves intense skipping...yep 3 bucks for a bit of rope and push yourself hard for 10 minutes and work from there and your metabolism will be through the roof for the rest of the day...week 2 try 12 mins etc..work your way up but keep the intesity full on...doing 30 mins of slack assed cardio burns more fat at the time of exercise, HOWEVER gunning yourself flat out to your max, even at a shorter time, raises your metabolism so much you burn more fat over the whole day..some food for thought.
