Well I'm seeing a litle bit of difference...but not much. But I have to admit that somedays I don't eat as healthy as I can..but it's kinda hard to eat a lot of fruits and veggies when your parents don't buy very many! lol I've been running and exercising. I'm still trying and any advice would be great!
I'll keep ya'll informed

i have that same problem of having family members who buy lots of junk foods and not only do i have to try to resist buying it at the store but it sits in my kitchen yelling my name everytime i go in there. This is one reason i'm sortof eager to move out on my own but i like being here too cuz i'm saving a whole lot of money. I'm 23. My parents both said stay until i get married if i want to but i havn't even met a guy yet that is a maybe. But if i want to lose weight i either am going to have to learn to be strong and not touch that stuff or move out.
If i were buying groceries i think my deal with myself would be to get ONE junk food item a week whether it be a small bag of chips, a candy bar or and ice cream or whatever but that way i wouldn't go off the deep end and go overboard....plus one thing a week i dont' think would hurt so much. But if i was bad and not exercise or eat too much other stuff that week that i shouldn't i wouldn't get to buy that one thing.
anyway i know how it feels to have parents buying and cooking things you dont' need.

I completely understand what both of you are talking about!! I'm a teenager and my parents often buy unhealthy food..it' taken me awhile to try and avoid some of the food they buy. I've started to go grocery shopping with them so I can choose the food that I'd like. That's not as bad as when I'm around my boyfriend. He's one of those guys, like many that can eat whatever they want and won't gain an ounce! So unfortunately, I think a lot of my weight gain over that past year or so has been because I tend to over eat when I'm around him (which is quite a bit) and I don't even realize it!! We go out to eat a lot and he doesn't have to watch his weight at all..so for awhile there, I didn't think I had to either..Wasn't I wrong!! He knows now that I'm trying to go back down to my normal weight and I he's trying to respect that. It's still hard though when we're out and I'm eating a salad and he's eating a huge cheeseburger!
Sorry about that, I just needed to vent. Anyways I wish the best of luck to you!
