Hi there everyone,
I'm trying to find a cereal to eat in the mornings when I go off to school this upcoming week. I'm using the new school year to start over again, so I'll be asking tons of questions :) Basically, right now I just need a good cereal that's not high in calories and has a lot of fiber. And it has to be a common cereal so that the cafeteria will carry it (they have a lot though). I was thinking Cheerios, but I really have no clue. Thanks for any advice.

I eat rasin bran, or bran flakes every morning. It is high in fiber and gives me most of the iron that i need. It also keeps me full for much longer than other cereals like special k or cheerios. They are a little lower in cals but whats the point if Im hungery half an hour later.
hope this helps

The bran flakes I eat are lower in calories than cheerios.

why not just bring your own in a baggie, and buy the milk at the caf? Kashi heart to heart is my favorite, at least this is what I do when I am at school

Oatmeal. Get the 100% whole grain kind in the tubular box. Cook as directed in the microwave, then sprinkle some splenda and some cinnamon on it. Great morning energy boost with only 150 calories, no fat, 4 grams of fiber, and 5 grams of protein.
