Hey!
I heard once that when you are keeping track of your calorie intake, you have to count the fat grams and carbs that also count as calories inside themselves, is this true? or do you jsut count the calories that are labeled.

just the calories marked on the pack of stuff. Be wary some give you calories per serve and theres like 6 servings so u have to times it by 6 if u plan to consume the whole thing....on a side note, 1 gram of carbohydrate and 1 gram of protein is 4 calories, 1 gram of fat is 9 calories....some food for thought

Could you help me with an appropriate diet, basically I am forty-two years old and man is it hard for one to loose weight plus I have a low thyroid, any suggestions of calorie intake and also, which types of food? You seem to know a lot about diets, out of curiosity are you a skilled person who works at the gym and does nutrition, as I value all of your information. Low thyroid function should not be a problem because there is effective, safe and proven medical supplementation for it. Once properly supplemented, this fact should cease to be a factor in weight gain / weight loss failure.

So sorry but let me tell u that I have low FSH Level and it is not maintained at present................I have blood test done two weekly and my thyroid gland plays havock from one week to the next and I do take LEVOXYL the mg. ranges from 50 grams to 150 every other week, so don't tell me that it my thyroid is under control as it is not....................I now take water tables as well as I retain fluids.
