Just wanted to say hello to my Canadians out there. I asked in an earlier posting about jobs that each of you have and was surprised by the # of Canadians who replied! I'm a Canadian living down here in the USA and any time I hear "Canada" or "Canadian", my ears perk right up!! In this case, my eyes. Ha
Anyway, just saying hello. Hope you're all warm up there. I'm living in San Diego, so I can't complain about cold weather but I do miss the snow and change of seasons!
Missing home,
Tara

I'm from small town Quebec, but born and raised speaking English. (Course I speak French, too.) Qui parmi vous parle français?

I wish you had a fan down there in San Diego with a 'blow to Saskatchewan' button so you could send a blast of warm air up here!

un petit peu.
I was in french immersion for grades 6 through 8 and can read and understand it better than I can speak and write it. Weird, I know, but comes in handy :-)

There was a young man from Quebec
Who was buried in snow to his neck
When asked, "Is you frizz?"
He replied, "Yes, I is,
But we don't call this cold in Quebec!"
Nancy - je parle francais, moi aussi - je suis nee dans les Cantons de l'est, pres de Sherbrooke.
TARA - if you really miss the snow that much, I'd be happy to send you some, we got extra this year. Wonder if UPS can handle it?
Keep smilin', everyone - spring must arrive one day (soon, we hope!).

Bonjour Nancy,
Luna

Hi Christina,
Yes, my husband landed a great job out here that really advanced his career. COuldn't pass it up!
Plus, we have been wanting to get out of the 'big city' before starting a family.
Great to hear there is someone close by :-)

Well welcome to Regina! I have two kids myself and find it to be a really great place to raise a family. What area of the city are you in?

Hello, Luna. I live just south of Montreal in a very French rural area. Do you use French in your job? I teach English in a French school, my husband is French (from Paris) and my daughter is now fully bilingual (at age 5). I, too, am much more proficient in English than French, but I love speaking and writing French. Have a great day.

I have no idea and I had been wondering. Maybe if you email Melanie Mendelson she would tell you.
