I'm so excited!!!! Guess what!!!!
I was asked this morning to come in for an interview at Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ! There's a position open at the High School and a place called EVIT (East Valley Institute of Technology).
My (potentioal) job would be to act as a liason between the high school and EVIT as an advocate for the students with special needs. I would have my own office, too!
Basically, as it was explained to me, my job would include tutoring the special education students who go to EVIT, if needed, make sure their IEP's are being followed at EVIT as they would be at the high school, and stand up for their rights. I would get to be THEIR voice...
I'm so PSYCHED!!!!
What's even more awesome, is that since I used to tutor the special ed students at the high school in question, I already am well thought of there. And one of the higher ups in the department has already recommended me STRONGLY (explains as to why I've been asked to come to an interview)
YAY!!!!!
I have to go to my crappy job now... talk to you all later!

Okay, so I went, and it turns out that the person who did this first interview was a teacher of mine WHO REALY LOVED ME as her student. She was totally psyched to see me. Anyway, I have to fill out some paperwork, and then I get a formal interview, and then possibly the job...
Yay!
LOL, I also got a dollar raise at my crappy job today. not that it matters... : P
