I was raised and taught pounds and ounces. By the time I got to nurses training, we had to use metric. I get confused very easily :). However, there is one instance in which metric makes something much easier to see.
One liter of water weighs one kilogram (2.2 pounds).
So how about water weight gain? If you drink one liter of water, about 4 eight ounces glasses, and don't 'get rid' of it ... you've gained one kilogram. Water is heavy. So think about getting home from work. Your shoes feel snug, your hands feel stiff, even your waist band is uncomfortable. Think about all the water it would take to cover that amount of area and DON"T weigh yourself.

1200 calories a day (I used fitday.com) and I walked around about 3 miles almost every day. Ask more questions. I'll help you. BTW I'm not at 125 just yet. These last few pounds are sloooow moving. But I look pretty good!
