yes your body adjust to the increased water intake
When i was feeling really tired all the time some suggested increasing my iron intake (red meat spinich brocoli etc) that really did seem to work
this my experience hope it helps

The general rule of thumb is that women should not go below 1200 cal./day without getting the ok from a doctor (although this is mainly a precaution--most healthy women can go below 1200/day with no ill effects), and that nobody should go below 800 cal./day without careful medical supervision. You should count your calories for a few days at least to determine what level you're at, if you don't already know.
That being said, it's common to feel very hungry and at least a little tired when you first start a serious diet. Most people adjust in a few weeks if they keep with it. Congrats on the 5 pounds!

to add to the great advice above...try spreading your meals out. Eat smaller meals for breakfast/lunch/dinner but add snacks in between to counteract the hunger. Make sure you are eating a well balanced meal (enough protein/carbs/good fats). for the snacks just eat fruits, vegetables, low fat yogurt.
Your body will get used to it. Congrats on the 5 lbs!
good luck.
